Encounters with new music for students in Schleswig-Holstein

Ensemble in Residence – our interpretation:
A renowned new music ensemble is in residence in Kiel for four weeks. Their work with young people takes center stage rather than their concerts.
Through the “Ensemble in Residence” program organized by chiffren entire classes or courses have the chance to experience and actively discover the music of our times together with professional music ensembles in live encounter in their schools.  
The program focuses on introducing students to works of new music and to new playing techniques. It gives guidance on creative new ways of handling instruments and sound and simply lets students meet musicians up close and personal.
